1. What Shipping Protection Is
Shipping Protection is an optional service that may be added at checkout for eligible destination countries. Its availability and price are shown at checkout before the order is placed. Where it is not offered for a destination, or is not selected, the shipment is treated as a shipment without Shipping Protection.

2. What It Covers
Shipping Protection gives access to additional remedies, limited to one remedy per order, if a shipment is lost or seized by destination country customs. The covered scenarios, the conditions that apply and the available remedies are set out in sections 4.4 and 4.6 of our Return, Reship & Platform Service Fee Policy. Situations that are not covered are listed in section 4.9 of the same policy.

3. What It Is Not
Shipping Protection is not an insurance contract or a financial product. It does not guarantee delivery or customs clearance and does not change the customer’s responsibility as importer of record. It provides only the remedies set out in the Return, Reship & Platform Service Fee Policy.

4. Governing Documents
This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. In case of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions prevail, followed by the Return, Reship & Platform Service Fee Policy. By selecting Shipping Protection at checkout, the customer confirms having read these documents.
