Wakaba Cigar – A Tobacco Heritage in Little Cigar Form
Wakaba Cigar is the “cigarillo” style continuation of the Wakaba brand, created when Wakaba paper cigarettes were discontinued. This little cigar format preserved much of the bold tobacco flavor and body Wakaba was known for, while shifting to a wrapper leaf shell rather than standard cigarette paper. The design intended to maintain a robust draw and aroma reminiscent of classic Wakaba, while adjusting to regulatory and tax constraints. Wakaba Cigar was phased out in 2024 as Wakaba was reintroduced as Wakaba KS (paper cigarette).
